These nucs are our pride and joy — raised, bred, and overwintered right here in Michigan.
These are production ready colonies built to take off immediately. Our goal is for brood to begin emerging within 1–2 days of installation. With a heavy population of nurse bees and capped brood ready to emerge, your colony gains momentum fast, drawing comb quickly, expanding brood space, and preparing to bring in nectar during your first flow.

They’re true survivor stock, proven to handle our unpredictable weather and tough winters. Every colony has been carefully selected for strength, health, and temperament, coming from our main breeder queen, Viplidoo.
We’ve spent over six years selectively breeding and stress-testing Viplidoo’s line to produce queens that can handle mites and thrive year after year. Each 5-frame nuc includes:

Your nuc will come in a sturdy plastic ProNuc perfect for getting them home safely. (Just remember — this isn’t their forever home, so you’ll want to have your hive setup ready to go when you pick them up.)
