Single Deep Production Colonies – Michigan Bee Hives for Sale (Deposit)

We ended up making more bees than planned this season and have single story production hives available this summer. 

These colonies are housed in 10 frame equipment and include a feeder and top cover. Some boxes are brand new painted equipment, while others are wax dipped boxes that are approximately four years old and still have plenty of life left in them. About 70% of the comb is new and was drawn this season, with the remaining frames consisting of 3-4 year old comb.

Each hive has been treated twice for mites, fed, and is currently washing 0s and 1s. Colonies are strong, healthy, and ready for a second box IMMEDIATELY just in time for the summer honey flow. These hives have never been used in a pollination event and have spent their season building up right here in Michigan.

Balance due: $180 per hive at pick-up
